I love that Jesus knew both Mary and Thomas so completely that he gave them what they each needed in their moment. Jesus took the time to comfort Mary before he went to his father. Jesus knew that Thomas was a visual learner and was probably wrestling with a lot of emotions after the cross. Jesus gave Thomas personal attention. He gets us the way we are.
